G45 Productions is an artistic collective of young artists from New York City, all graduates of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. G45 serves as an artistic home and community for its ensemble members, providing support and inspiration during the year until the group comes together to produce a summer-season of works. Founded on the principles of creating our own opportunities and growing collectively as artists, G45 tells personal stories that spark conversations and challenge our audiences.

mission statement

As artists, we strive to:

  • Provoke dialogues with our audience in exploring contemporary issues.

  • Produce both revivals and new works that are personal and pertinent to the players and today's world.

  • Foster an ensemble of artists that supports one another, and holds each other to a high standard of artistry.

why g45?

Our name, G45 Productions, refers to one of the primary Drama Department classrooms in basement of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts, our shared alma mater. While we aim to evolve into an artistic collective that encompasses more than just LaGuardia graduates, the title of our ensemble will always be our way of honoring our roots. It pays homage to the place that brought us together that ignited a deep passion for creating art within all of us and the symbol of that physical classroom: a space for exploration and growth with an emphasis on process, risk-taking and community.
