Lily Santiago grew up in New York City where she attended LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts. She is currently a third-year theatre major and Spanish minor at Northwestern University, where she has had the opportunity to participate in several productions.She recently returned from studying abroad at an acting conservatory in London, and was involved in a production of "Macbeth," in which she played Lady Macbeth. This year her roles include Yazmin in Quiara Alegría-Hudes' "Water by the Spoonful" and Laurencia in an adaptation of "Fuente Ovejuna." Lily was seen in G45's first mainstage production of "How I Learned to Drive," as well as the first New Works Development Series, in Kori Alston's "Melanin."
